First of all, I want to tell everyone how excited I am to have Crossfit UNC back in action. We have made some changes to our insurance, which have cost us a great deal of money but that we hope will go further in protecting us and all of you as our participants. We're also reaffirming our continued commitment to listening to our own bodies during workouts and providing extensive modifications for movements so we include all fitness levels.
So, I can't wait to see your faces tonight! In honor of this occasion, we're going to do a partner WOD! All of the movements in this workout can be modified based on your comfort level, your skill level, or any sensitive past injury points you may have. We will go over in scaling in detail, as always, at the WOD tonight.

Partner WOD: 25 min AMRAP:
60m wheelbarrow (split between 2 partners)
60m partner drag ("")
60m partner piggyback ("")
60m partner carry, lovers-fashion ("") (partner pushups can be substituted for this movement)

Classes Return This Tuesday 3/27

We will resume classes this Tuesday, March 27th! As we begin classes, we are also looking for donations to help pay off our insurance policy. Any amount will help, and if you'd be so kind, please donate either online or bring your money to the WOD!

CrossFit Plans to Return Soon!! But we ask for your patience and support!

Hey all!

Again, we are extremely sorry for our temporary hold on classes. After encountering some difficulties with insurance, we are now on the right path towards providing you with an even safer, friendly, and professional environment. Right now, we are in the final stages of paying for our new CrossFit RRG insurance plan, and to quicken our return back to the Field House for our weekly WODs, we ask if any of you would be interested in making a small donation towards CrossFit UNC-CH. Our goal is to be back to our normal schedule, at the latest, in approximately two weeks. This time can be improved, of course, with your support--understanding however that these donations are 100% optional, and that any amount will help!

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: CROSSFIT TEMPORARILY ON HOLD

We are very sad to report, especially on such short notice, that CrossFit classes will temporarily be put on hold. We have recently encountered some administrative faults which must be corrected before we are allowed to workout again. Although we can't provide a specific date, we promise that we will be working diligently to solve this problem, which, over the long haul, will better our organization, your safety, and your CrossFit experience. We truly apologize for this inconvenience; you have all demonstrated wonderful heart and dedication, and we promise to return this favor by solving our administrative issues ASAP. At the same time, there is no reason why you should stop CrossFiting! Stay involved, and prove to yourself and to your trainers that you will be even fitter upon our return to our normal schedule!
